New contract every season?

Tbf we were under different FFP restraints last season vrs this season. A new updated contract would reflect that fact.

Saw Nigel Spink retweet this what seemed a dodgy tweet from the other day - looks like this bloke could very well be ITK if today's reports are accurate. Maybe it's Dean Smith's son's mate again...

Well that’s all the proof I need. Nice one Jack!

It's funny that sometimes things like this are the most reliable bits of info we get. Remember when everyone dismissed Dean Smith's son's mate who posted a list of transfer targets and then slowly one by one we signed nearly all of them.

Villa Facebook have also just posted a very promo-like image of Jack in his England gear (different to the usual England training pics that they share). Would be a bit weird to be putting this amount of emphasis on him if he had one foot out the door...

Yeah. It was the knowledge of Douglas Luiz that verified it for me

Every window it's a new family member or friend letting this info out, Jack I'd just disown the lot of em.

Soon Jack you will be adopting new family.

I can’t stand Southgate but after what I saw yesterday it’s looking like the most defensive team might actually win this thing!

Obviously want Jack to play but if Southgate wants to park the bus and nick a goal and this gets the win. Then so be it.

If there was any truth in this then there wouldn't be any negotiation would there. Or man city thinking of making a bid.

They’re just thinking of preparing a bid at the minute.

I don't care what anybody says.... Buy out clause or not. Unless the club want to sell Jack I don't see him leaving this summer. One of the reasons he signed the new deal less than 12 months ago was the clubs ambition. That hasn't changed and if anything real progress the season just gone has emphasised the owners ambition and our trajectory in line with that contract. The signing early doors of Buendia and bringing in Young confirms this. The way I see it is that regardless of City and whoever holds an interest in Jack, if he requests to go this summer he'll ruin a large chunk of the love the Villa fans have for him. I don't see him doing that based on the love he has for this club. At least not just yet.

We are not a million miles away from challenging the top clubs for those European places and a few more clever signings will get us there just like it did with Leicester. Lets look at things this way, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Leicester, Chelsea....We turned them all over last season and could've turned anyone over on our day. Jack doesn't need to go anywhere yet.

Last summer, some guy on the r/avfc subreddit posted that we were in talks to sign Barkley days before anyone in the media picked up on the story.

There is truth didn't you know:

Jack Grealish was sat on the toilet since early last January texting people of Man City that a part of him was interested in only joining there club. That being said he suddenly felt he forgot his McDonald's large cup he had the night before which was sat on the table. He felt himself about to let go of the large sized (chocolate) milkshake he had playing around inside his bowls the night before, he then proceeded to kneel down after he decided to take off his slipper wondering cup or slipper only to go escort it directly to Man City himself and share his shit directly with the club that is deserved of signing a part of him. Jack asks the Man City chiefs "so 88 million pounds was the fee correct" with which the Mancity chiefs reply "yes Jack that's correct", Jack then replies I'm sorry City but you can't have me I'm staying at Villa but for 88 million you can have this McDonald's large sized cup and all the contents within it.

I mean not really. France were more defensive than Switzerland. Switzerland went for it and could have had 5 in 90 minutes. They missed 3 really good chances, a pen and a miscotnrol in the 94th minute that would have been a 1 on 1 with lloris
