In terms of decisions and overall risk to player safety that was one of the worst refereeing performances I've seen. He was the same against Brentford too.

Not the worst result in a bear pit uncontrolled by the referee. A point and a clean sheet. No red cards and no broken legs, no thanks to Tarkowski.

Make the games last 5 hours and review every decision. Referees are killing football.

Almost unwatchable. Really really poor game. Not at our best and Everton are a painfully negative team. Ready for a 2 week break after that!

Feared this game especially when I saw Pau was out and knowing DCL was on a brown patch.  I would have taken the point before the game.

That ref is pathetic, zero control whatsoever. That altercation at the corner didn't have to turn into anything with a few blows of his whistle.

First half was good, we were well in control but failed to create anything massively clear cut.

Second half was scrappy, no fluidity at all.  Suited Everton down to the ground.

It's not a bad point, though.

Not sure I've ever seen so much shirt pulling going unpunished. Frustrating day.

Don't think we did a lot wrong, other than a lack of urgency at the end.

This is the problem being at the sharp end of the league. 

It's relentless, you just have to grind out the wins and find a way.  We just don't have that. 

We could have started our next game looking to go top of the league. 

Now we're likely to start our next game needing to win to stay in the top 4.

It's totally unforgiving.

I suppose a point is OK. We really are our own worst enemy at times. Making it a battle helped Everton and got the crowd going. I much prefer to see us cool and calm.

Why is the ref giving a foul instead of the corner for the wrestling between tarkowski and watkins. This ref was all over the place. Joke of a yellow card to watkins, tielemans and lenglet. 

All the stoppages, fouls, terrible refereeing ruined the match.
