I can't remember the last time we played a team as good as Man City and yet for the whole 90 minutes I felt more than quietly confident that we would win.  As soon as Bailey scored it was like "Yep that's 3 points in the bag because there is no way that City are scoring tonight."  Absolutely immense.  Hopefully we can now stop this rubbish debate about the high line - it completely nullified Man City as an attacking force - their attackers had nowhere to run and the midfielders had no space in which to operate.  That was as controlled a performance as I have ever seen.  The 7-2 against Liverpool was special but it could be written off as just "one of those games" - today we were absolutely deserving winners and City didn't have a clue how to play against us.

I am lost for words at how Emery has transformed this team. 1-0 up against possibly best team in world, into injury time, and still 2 players were pressing Ederson as the ball was played back to him. No sitting back. No negative thoughts. Front foot all the time. It’s such a joy to see the team like this and getting amongst the big boys. LB and SJM outstanding tonight.
