The litmus test for our midfield and we didn’t pass it. Casemiro dominated the game and pretty much set the tone. Oh well, the dream of Europe is still far from over despite everything. Hopefully we can get a few players back for Wolves and smash them.

Injuries are really hurting us. Games like today are when you see the difference between a Kamara and Donk.

This. At a certain point, the injuries have to derail our play, and today was that  point.

Played like a side mentally drained and still could have got something. Ref was diabolical. How can you blow up for full time when the attacking side has the ball in an attacking position in the final third!?

The result of us really not having the squad depth or energy due to not being able to freshen things up.

PS. I hate this Manure side. Utter odious c**ts

Can't see us getting anything against Wolves now

I hope you are wrong because

a) that would undermine many weeks of hard work, and

b) Custard Bowl Nobbers are **** shit.

So multiple fouls from Fred and others aren’t an issue? C’mon mate. We could see how much the likes of Casemiro got away with.

The thing is that once a player is booked, the rest doesn't follow.  There's not a **** chance Man Utd should've had a man sent off - it's utter nonsense.

I think the game was perhaps a bit too big for Jarred Gillett to be refereeing, frankly. Not quit Phil Dowd levels of shocking, but extremely poor.

Could put this down to not being a good day at the office, but why we were time wasting while LOSING is beyond me.

Anyway, clean slate. Onto the next.

We need those injured back now, squad is looking to look thin, signs were there against Fulham and Brentford.

How Casemiro didn’t get two yellows in the first half is beyond me.  Referee just didn’t want to actually make a decision, he was a passenger throughout.

Not a single attempt on target from us in the 2nd half, that really is poor. And only one on target in the 1st half. And that's three games in a row now that we haven't played well overall. The quality has dropped off significantly and we seem to have run out of steam.

We had one cleared off the line in the second half and konsa could of had a tap in if he was a second slower with his run. Really wasn't that bad of a performance and man utd a very good team especially at old Trafford

A narrow defeat in a tough game, where we could have scored before that but for a slip. United are better than us and they turned up and had a plan that worked, it is what it is. We're thin and have been showing signs of running on fumes for a bit, hopefully we'll get some of the absentees back in training and get a reaction to the defeat.

The ref was letting a lot go for both sides  but it wasn't some egregiously terrible refereeing performance, despite the hopeful penalty appeals from United.

Not a good day for Buendia, who was frustrated and hassled out of it

Midfield off it today, too slow and static and couldn't get the ball into Ollie consistently. Defense sound enough despite the high risk tactic, but Martinez will want that one back. As expected no help from the ref who let Casemiro in particular trample whoever he wanted. Probably should've just about drawn level, but meh.

Kept giving the ball away at key moments.

If only Watkins got the same fouls that Konsa gets.

Absolutely ridiculous that it wasn't a penalty on Watkins. Would have had a clean header if not shoulder barged by Dalot

Says a great deal about where we're at though that United were hanging on in the last 20 rather than looking for the killer 2nf.

Our players were not quite at the level needed: Buendia, Luiz, Ramsey, Watkins... Martinez doing an olsen for the goal was unfortunate.

We need to be more on the front foot to win these last challenging games we have left.
