Second-half it was all Arsenal, I for one could see what was going to happen...

Villa just cave under pressure. Every. Single. Time. It IS a mental weakness!

We struggle to keep the ball that’s what the real issue is. Too many players who are too slow (in prem terms) to make space and receive passes comfortably.

3 defeats on the spin, okay it’s a bit skewed when two of those games against the top 2 but what are the chances that we’d have consecutive home games where we twice led to end up losing 4–2?!

We lacked energy in the second half except for short bursts when we looked dangerous, Arsenal were the better team overall but it came down to fine margins, Baileys effort crashed off the bar and into relative safety, theirs smacks Martinez on the back of his head and goes in, them’s the breaks sometimes.

The 4-2 flatters them. Granted it should’ve been 6-2 but that 4th goal shouldn’t really be factored in. The Leicester game is the upsetting one.

Fully supportive of Emery and we are close but so far from being what he wants.

There are some positives on the team, but.....

There are no excuses for the players imo, when a team continues again and again to do the same thing over and over, the same poor game management, the same weak mentality, the same mistakes.

Doing it once or twice is one thing, but we do it again and again, it's really painful to know what's coming before it happens.

We gifted them 4 goals today and we still looked like we could win. That's progress. Eliminate the mistakes and we'll be well up there.

The mistakes are every game.

I get the feeling he thinks he's better than Villa, actually get the feeling he thinks he's better than any team. Needs to come back down to earth, no way he needed to be up for that last corner either.

Got no issues with him going up for that corner. So we concede another goal, so what?

I agree on the time wasting though. It was pointless.

Playing well but losing against the league leaders is all well and good, but what happens next week when we put in a shit performance against a struggling team?

I'd rather win ugly until the end of the season as the mentality in this team could see us dragged back into trouble if we don't put a stop to this now.

Don't like Arse but they deserved to win.

The game plan was a good one, let them have the ball, catch them on the counter. Unfortunately you need players to hold itu p better, and better use of the ball when we have it.

For me Buendia and Watkins give the ball away too much, and Luiz and McGinn haven't got enough incisive passes in them to play this way.

Kamara and PC are good enough, as probably is Ramsey

For us to reach Arses level we need another good midfielder, and a wider attacker who is good on the ball.

Not far away imho

Yes, and the trade off is we play electric football and go toe-to-toe with Man City and Arsenal. In time and with better players we'll fix those mistakes.
