I’ve seen enough from this performance to be optimistic.  Played some really nice football against very strong opposition and got back into the game. Killed by a counter at a point where we had to push up.  We’ll play worse and win.

Back down to earth. Lots of work to do. Give Emery what he needs and let him gut the soft underbelly in this side. Some really promising moments, and the game was there to be won, but we can't carry so many shit players.Too much dross in that 11.

Poor defending and wasteful in fron of goal. Liverpool weren’t that good. We played well is spells .

It was some good game management from Klopp honestly. We looked like we were going to win, he makes two subs to hold the ball and pass it around a bit, and it just completely killed our momentum

they are a top side and they had to be at their best to win the game. that's all i ask. i strangely don't feel too glum about that. we're on the right track, but not there yet

We were decent for considerable periods of the game against (despite what the media wankfest would have you believe) an almost full-strength Liverpool team, and that was with arguably 4 of our best 11 out/unfit (Martinez, Cash, Ramsey and Ings).

Refereeing was awful, although that's to be expected.

Better team for the majority of the game. Undone by an amazing first and two deflected goals. On another day we could have scored 6. 

Premier league continue to have some of the poorest refs in the world. He was terrible at times!

Liverpool have no chance of top 4 imho.

How many times did Bailey just completely whiff a kick? Astonishing at this level, he had an absolute disaster. Couldn't believe he stayed on the pitch for so long

We dominated 25 minutes at start of second half. We then went flat when they made the changes and we didn’t react.
