Don't see why people were booing again. We're playing the football Gerrard wants us to play but we don't have the players for it. We need new midfielders good enough to compete with this style of play.

More for the ref who has been an absolute dish mat.

Complain about the ref until the cows come home, doesn’t change the fact that we have been absolute dross.

We haven't scored by passing the ball slowly deep in our own half - shocker.

This 4-3-2-1 doesn’t work. The two tens sit too deep and the striker gets comfortably marked out of the game. Just ends up with the midfield doing too much work.

Think we need some natural width & pace from Bailey to pin Arsenal back a bit more and have more of a threat on the counter

We started very slowly and gifted Arsenal the goal.

Pathetic referee today.

Got it wrong with the formation as Ollie is isolated.

Partey shouldn't be on the pitch but somehow Mings is booked for a perfectly legimiate tackle.

The ref is looking at reactions more than the actual tackles. Saka has been rolling around every time he’s touched and the ref is eating it up.

Yeah, I don't think the ref has really been that awful.  Partey should've been booked, Mings shouldn't.  That's about it - nothing game changing.

We haven't had a single shot in the half.  Woeful.

Our midfield players are just not at the same level as Arsenal. Until we address that, we will never climb the table. Luis and Ramsey utterly anonymous. McGinn gave the ball away with each of his first two touches and then carried on in that manner for the entire half.

Bit like the first half of the Man City and Man United home games - we just sat off them and watched them play generally.

In both of those games in the second half we came out and gave them a game and we'll need to do the same again today.

Need to be far more agressive though but obviously be careful not to get red cards!

Hopefully it's at the ref

Arsenal are a better team than us despite the media and the banter sites attempts at ribbing them all year they should get 4th

This looks exactly like what it is - 4th in the league vs 9th in mid march, only one team turned up

The ref is **** shite but thats same old, if you scream loud enough you win the free kick and saka is great at screaming
