All the best Phil! Hope he goes there and smashes it!

He should be able to, it's probably on par with the SPL, which is about the same level Coutinho can cope with nowadays.

A good loan but a disastrous signing by us.

Atleast he has saved the best moment of magic until last by disappearing away from Villa.  :thumb:

Hopefully the last nonsense vanity signing by us and with on to it owners and Emery it probably will be

It wasn't really nonsense, it was a prestige signing that probably helped us unlock a higher tier of player. It served its purpose.

Farewell Phil. Thank you for providing a frisson of excitement in an otherwise deeply mediocre season.  Unfortunately, that was the best it got.

I am not trying to be nasty but I can't think of many other players who have declined so quickly from world-class to average in such a short time.  The injuries have sadly got the better of him.

Absolute bizarre outlook you have on some Villa related topics

You might be correct. Right now I think we have some stuff going on behind the scenes. Upcoming results will tell us more, but I think this is going to be a poor season for team progress.

Owners wanting out?

Emery disappointed after being promised more money ?

Players unhappy with new arrivals being on more money.?

Spanish speaking players only socialise and train with each other and want nothing to with anyone else which Emery encourages?

Or all of the above?

Have we arranged for the decorators to come in and this will be what disrupts us?

Scenes in the corridor of the tunnel where the teams will be lining up to enter the pitch before kick off, but they will need to mind to not trip over the ladders, paint and protective sheets that are down before heading out to the pitch...

Otherwise, I'm not sure where you're going with this "I think there might be a problem behind the scenes" analogy.

On the basis of what you're saying, if the next 5 results are all wins, then does that also tell us there is no problem and everything is fine?

It's a bit of a bizarre post you've made to be fair.

Or none of the above

Same poster has continually tried to start relegation threads or bumped last seasons when we lost to City 😂

I can’t see “stuff behind the scenes” thing, to me we look the most connected we’ve been in the club and outside for a generation.

Literally no benefit at all. Smacks of chaos amongst the playing and coaching staff.

So glad he's gone. Waste of wage space perma injured flat track bully. Just look at the wins vs in the 23 games he played +60. Usual nonsense from many on here as has been for decades about injured players being better than they are the longer they don't play

VT in a nutshell.

You are guessing at these things, right? At least admit that. They might be guesses based on a hunch or two you have about X, or something you have seen in Y, but they are still guesses, right? Please do feel free to share the pretext of your guesses.

To be fair, it's @Follyfoot who's asking the questions to the poster.

Like many of us, we were trying to understand what @Tayls was trying to get at in his post to begin with.
