Sarcastic Yes Reaction GIF by MOODMAN

I despair.

Years of relegation battles, circling the drain, losing to shite like Wigan in the Championship, more relegation battles.

Entitled isn't the word.

What's happened in past seasons has nothing to do with it. We've had enough of living in the past at Villa, having to settle for reveling in past glories.

It was time to live in the present, be ambitious, take a calculated risk.

Oh well. Mid-table at best this year, maybe we'll have a go next year.

I'm not going to criticise anybody for being a little disappointed. We've made some great signings. We've also made a profit, and this team is not balanced. Might have missed a trick or two here. We'll see.

But it's mostly all positive. Let's get on with it.

Quite surprising we wasn't even mentioned to be looking at anyone else. Spent nothing other than most of the JG money. Shocked really we ain't spent another 30-40m, most thought we would.

And the reason being, Dean et.co., are surely satisfied with the business we've done and don't see a need for further reinforcements.

Absolutely. Dean must be happy with the squad, he will know what is expected of him, and he will hope that these signings will achieve what he is tasked to do. I for one will be hoping he is right and that it will all be OK in the end.

Absolutely gob smacked we didn't do any more business, especially after being linked to many midfielders.  Just press bullshit or couldn't get the deals done?

Someone should show this to the you from uh...12 months ago. You'd probably laugh at yourself.
