I agree that it worked, sure, but he was basically the only one that they could convince to sign there at that time. The amount of money they've poured in since, spending near twice that on about 4 full backs just goes to show how little an investment it was for them too. I think he paid off what we paid for him that season. That part of the season was probably the best in the last 10 years at this level.
