Well that was jammy as f.

On the one hand we certainly didn't deserve to get a win after the way we played.

But on the other hand we did since the ref and VAR screwed us over with that disallowed goal.

Move on thank McGrath and learn from this I guess?

Potter had the edge on Smith today but Aaron Mooy saved us.

Grealish is the difference, just a level above everyone else.

Some of our other usual stand out players had below average or poor games today, Mings, McGinn, Nakamba and others never got going.

Ref had a stinker.

End of the day it's 3 points thou so cheers everyone.

After a poor start the game was ours for the taking for the remaining hour of play. And we took it!

Grealish is immense and is the finest player I have seen wear the shirt. Undoubtedly MOTM and a class above.

We did it ladies and gents!! We are now up to 11th on the league table and we now look forward to some tough tests.

Although we’ve seemed so wobbly it seems ludicrous to moan when we are 11th after scraping promotion, rebuilding a team and being so terrible last time we were here

The games tell the story though, look way off the pace in some games, then sometimes like against Norwich we dont hold back. Need to find consistency.

Referee should’ve sent off Montoya regardless of Jack getting back up. If there’s a clear and obvious second yellow, which it was, the game needs to be stopped and the player sent off even if there could’ve been an advantage (I’m not sure the rules on sending offs after advantages as the player in question could still effect the phase play).

we also give teams so much space and opportunities, Brighton in the second half had far more clear cut chances than we did and they had ten men!
