AntrimBlack
Different class in the CH. I am probably getting carried away, but he could be our next big thing. He is scoring consistently, and seems to not be just a flash in the pan.
Tomaszk
That's such a good finish. Watkins misses that. 3

I know what you are saying and I do agree, but a striker who scores goals is invaluable. Imagine him being fed by Buendia.

Popular Post Delphinho123
Some Preston Fans comments: 1. Tell you what, take a close look at this lads movement off the ball and his initial movement when receiving it into feet. He is the real deal in my view. The way he adjusts his body shape to turn an average ball into one he can make into an attacking opportunity is first class. If we can supply some good delivery into feet he will do some major damage. I think DJ will absolutely love a player like Archer. Can't wait to see that link up. I know he didn't have many scoring opportunities today but considering how poor we played and how AWOL our entire midfield was you can understand why. We've had a lot of young loan strikers over the years who looked to have real ability but we're still very raw. I don't get that feeling with Archer. He looks very much ready to me. 2. Will comfortably play in the Prem. More and more impressive every time I see him 3. Had the beating of those center halves as soon as we had kicked off. Always looked like he'd be in behind given the right ball. For 15 minutes or so after his goal he was quite literally unplayable 4. Was well impressed with him yesterday. He’s strong, rapid, his movement is excellent and he looks like he’s got a decent strike on him. 9

He's developed really quickly (KW.jpg) since the Solihull days. Thats why i'm not concerned about Barry at all - plenty of time for him to develop.

Popular Post Sulberto21
The performance against Chelsea was enough to convince me he has the ability to make it. He’s got searing pace ,excellent technical ability good finishing and movement with stealth which means he gets that extra second of space. If he keeps on the straight and narrow he’ll be a genuinely top striker. Early days of course but he’s got something. Like that Man City player who they signed in the summer for £100m you can tell he’s got it. 3/4 of our youngsters will end up being Championship and lower Prem players imo. Others will filter down to league 1/2. But Archer, Chuk, JPB and Iroegbunam have got that extra fizz to be at the upper end of the game. Hopefully. Edit - I forgot AJ. JJ for me is a regular starter. Popular Post Kuwabatake Sanjuro
That game against Barrow could end up being huge for his career, had Keinan Davis been fit he would not have had the opportunity and might still be a striker with only an underwhelming loan spell at Solihull Moors behind him. Great to see him kicking on and taking his chance now.

Buying in these top kids and investing in the academy to produce our own is a great economic model. And exciting.

skarroki
Great signing for PNE. Fits our side really well. Be keen to see him stay another season after this one, if he doesn't I'd imagine one or two of the Villa academy group will end up there, Lowe and Gerrard are close friends. KHH would fit the team really well too. Him and Archer getting a full season of championship football under their belts would be fantastic. As much as I'd like them to, PNE will struggle to make the playoffs let alone get promoted. The "4 points off" playoffs is technically true but there are some very good sides above them in the table with several games in hand now and the Preston squad simply isn't good enough.
