Brumstopdogs
Hoping they are him but yeah as a couple of people on here have said possibly could be made up. Innocent until proven guilty I say! Anyway this is definitely Mr Smith and is a good listen: 3

It is suspicious that the ‘quotes’ in question have appeared in the format of an internet meme rather than being released by official media outlet(s), especially as many sports journalists would love to have published the quoted text under a corresponding attention grabbing headline.

Casually mentions us winning the league, a 3-0 beating of the binners and playing with Gary Shaw. Chasing perfection, masses to come in that process, that out ambitions are way more important than a derby win in the long run. Superb, says we've been working on Forest and Boro too. What's not to like with Smith?
macandally
This Guy is the real deal, this is what Bruce really couldn’t get near. Attention to detail, game plans, players lunching together and having tactics mini sessions before heading to changing rooms! i am going to be bold here and say this guy will take us back up and make us a force again. Finally with the new owners and Smith, we might be back on the right track!

Junxs
What I find most impressive about todays interview is that he said he took the weekend off .. .. to attend an LMA function to meet other managers and exchange ideas and to progress his management skills Whilst other managers take time off to work on their tan

Popular Post markavfc40
I could listen to him all day. Great to hear him say that the obsession this season is to get into the top 2. No playing down of what the aim has to be. No focusing on how big the gap is, no mention of how tough it will be. I have never once heard him underplay how good the squad is or over play the hand of the opposition. He has exceeded my expectations of what I expected so far. Not in terms of results or performances but with his total focus on winning. You look at his background both as a player and a manager and you don't instantly see a winner but that is exactly what he is. I think we have finally gotten ourselves someone very special to lead us. Edited November 23, 2018 by markavfc40 10

Popular Post VillaEire
Just found these quotes from Conor Hourihane in an interview he did about the difference between club football and international football under MON. Hourihane also admitted that the level of preparation under Martin O’Neill was unlike what he’s accustomed to at club level. Ireland team-mate Matt Doherty had been critical of O’Neill’s “old school” approach in an interview yesterday. “Dean Smith [Aston Villa manager], the detail he goes into for every single game is second to none. We have a very attractive style of play,” Hourihane explained. He leaves no stone unturned for any game. He’s not satisfied with, let’s say, going away to Derby and taking a draw. He wants to win every single game with an attacking style of play, which suits us here. It’s fantastic to play in.

pacbuddies
I like Dean Smith. Is he the best manager on the planet? No. Is he the best manager we have ever had? Probably not. Is he the best manager we have had in a long time? I think he probably could be. One thing is for sure, he is one of our own and because of that I believe the job actually means something to him other than a pay packet each month and his press conferences seem so honest and refreshing unlike his predecessor who was cringeworthy!

What's not to like with Smith? He's absolutely correct. When it comes to them across the City, it's nothing but indifference to us, unless your name is Olef Melberg.
