Lloyd Kelly I think will stay at least 1 more season. Was his breakout year and not played in the position his long term future is seen as. IF we do end up getting promoted, part of me will be a little bit sad. No offence to any of them, but when the likes of Bournemouth, Watford, Brighton and Burnley are in the league above Villa you have to wonder how we stooped so low. It's a great league to be a part of, but now is the time to get back to the Prem. I believe our current owners are ambitious enough to make us competitive if we go up. And if you look at what Wolves have achieved this season, it's very possible to win promotion and compete against the top sides. Remains a big ‘IF’ for me though. My fear is, we don’t progress at the pace he does. We go up and it’s pretty much guaranteed we get another season from him. If he has a good season and gets an England call-up, I think we’ll get another year on top. Beyond that depends on us challenging for Top 4/contending for honours and I don’t see us getting there that quickly, if at all. Hope I’m wrong. They did craft a couple of decent chances that could have turned the game the other way, but in general play they looked bang average and far from solid defensively. Part of me thinks we could absolutely smash them next week and take an unassailable lead into the 2nd leg.
