    Barnsley score the penalty, 11 minutes into injury time. 5 consecutive games at Oakwell for us that have ended 2-2. Second time in a row Barnsley equalise last kick of the game. Feels like a loss.

    Barnsley get a 95th minute penalty. Very questionable as to whether it was in the box. Barnsley player going off on a stretcher with a neck brace.

    Bentley injured so Max O'Leary playing for us. So just need him to play the way he does against you every time and we're golden.

    A lot of managers get sacked after losing to us. Maybe the owners feel embarrassed. Warnock had it last season, there was about 3 different managers the season before.

    Win over Wednesday, 3 from 3 in the league with just 1 conceded.

    Even the back three was severely weakened from an ideal lineup. We had a CM covering at LCB. and if all defenders were fit then it would have been Mawson, Kalas and then one of Baker/Moore/Vyner as the third CB. I would say that at most 1, at a push 2, of that side would have started if we had all players fit. Either Moore or Vyner, and possibly Semenyo, though he shouldn't be ahead of Martin and Wells yet. That isn't to make any excuses at all. The better side on the night won and I'm sure can be said for the side you put out about few of them being starters if all players were available. Davis, Traore and Ramsey all very impressive. Traore perhaps benefited by going up against a natural winger at LWB and a CM at LCB, but that isn't to take away from his performance at all. Certainly over the next few months as players come back from injuries Holden will have a headache.

    I just bloody typed a load of stuff and then the other thread was closed and I lost it all First half you blew us away first 15 minutes and then saw it out very comfortably even as we started to grow into the game. Deserved 2 goal lead. Second half was much more even until the third goal, which was a very good counter as we threw everyone forward to get a goal back, adn you then had a couple more chances, one of which Ramsey hit right at O'Leary. Can't argue with the result, though maybe 1-1 would have been a fairer second half scoreline, the better side tonight won. Both teams had a penalty shout that probably would have been given in the Prem after VAR. In my view neither were penalties, though yours the stronger shout, and Vyner just couldn't handle Watkins after he came on. The first half one for you just wasn't a penalty at all. For City O'Leary and Semenyo probably the only 2 who started that played particularly well, Bakinson looked good again after he came on. I put Davis as your MOTM, he deserved a goal and this was the least awful I have seen Linnington referee a game, so credit to him there.

    In the Prem it might have been given by VAR, but it would have been really soft (even though I shouted for it). Arms were pretty much by his side and Palmer was so close to him he'd have had no time to move them out the way anyway.

    Game over. Been much more even second half, but we've had to push up to get a goal back and a well executed counter attack exploited that.

    Deserved lead for you. We couldnt handle you first 15 minutes. Have grown into the game a bit, but 0-3 is still looking more likely than 1-2. Davis has been excellent.
