Perfect idea.. here goes (to the tune of Noddy)

"Make way for Snoddy.. Snoddy!  You'd better keep out of his way...."

"Make way for Snoddy..  Snoddy!  Cause we know you'll score today....."

Maybe.

Might sound better with a shitload of fans singing rather than kids ...

Agree he totally needs a song. Carrying on the kids theme, the following to the tune of old macdonald should do the trick (edit: I should add this first one is in jest as apparently it wasn’t obvious)

“Robert Snodgrass scored a goal. Ee-aye-ee-aye-o.

And from his cross we scored again. Ee-aye-ee-aye-o.

With a snod snod here and a snod snod there.

Here a snod there a snod everywhere a snod snod.

Robert Snodgrass scored a goal. Ee-aye-ee-aye-o”

Or a slightly more serious attempt - an adaptation of the Carlos Cuellar song:

“The Scottish boy who makes the goals, Snodgrass, Snodgrass

He assists with his right and assists with his left, Snodgrass, Snodgrass,

He causes the Villa fans to sing, running riot on the wing,

Robert Snodgrass, Villa through and through”

. . . and this is why we can't have nice things.

Was clearly in jest - hopefully it won’t stop the weekend being full of nice things for all of us, including 3 points for the Villa!

Don’t tempt me... In all seriousness though, we need Snoddy to be on it defensively this weekend. He’ll be up against Barry Douglas at LWB, who is extremely dangerous going forwards and has one of the highest number of assists in the championship this season (although admittedly a lot of these have been from set plays). Jota also plays down that side, so whoever plays at right back (which I would not be at all surprised if it’s Tuanzebe if he’s fit after his showing against Fulham) will need a lot of help. Hopefully RS will be able to cover defensively, while also letting his quality show in the final third when he gets the chance.

Absolute star. Creative but always puts a shift in.

We HAVE to get promoted just so we can sign him! I'd be gutted to see him line up in another teams colours next season.

The passion he showed today was brilliant. From the first minute he was absolutely on one.

And WHAT a ball for Chester's goal. I actually barely celebrated because I assumed it was offside.
