tinker Posted January 11 VT Supporter Share Posted January 11 Lot to learn as a manager, seeing why you lose is easy, getting players to change how they play is difficult and Troy may struggle if he's throwing them under the bus. If he gets to bring players in ( as with most managers) they should be more willing to listen but that depends on the characters already at the club, will they allow the new players to integrate. The character of players is so important when building a team, a few bad ones can drag the whole club down. It's shows with Emery and Arsenal (bad characters) and Emery with the players Smith had assembled, good characters. Utd he acted with dignity and accepted the decision. Idiots like Arteta are moaning babies who criticise everything and everyone else. The likes of Deeney and Gerrard have no dignity, intellect or composure. Villa are so lucky to have one of the best managers around, sure we will have a difficult patch but we have to stick together, support the manager and team.
