... and they want him out?

True - they might not win it this year and might not finish as high as 2nd - but is Arteta really that bad?

Yeah, they are obviously frustrated after another great start to the season has faltered but they have become a formidable side during Arteta’s time.

It feels like they are a striker away from a genuine challenge to Man City’s dominance. Though that is the most difficult piece to fill.

Spurs haven't replaced Kane and doing ok even with injuries. More evidence the striker thing is bunk. Is Trossard injured. He seemed to be scoring a few last season playing the "striker" role

He is an unlikeable cretin, no different to the clearing in the woods we had before Unai. They seem to get less credit in the bank

Hmm.. weird, eh?

I agree - he's unlikeable. But, imo, so is Klopp. So is Pep. So is Thomas Frank.

But he's not doing a bad job and the trend has been upwards with him. He's spent plenty but still less than Chelsea who are much worse off.

They are in a bad patch, but they stuck with him in the first season when things were rough and reaped the benefits.

I just don't see the reason fo (what appears to be) the sudden hate for him from Arsenal fans.

Wait, didn't they sign a striker who was a part of the Man City dominance?

They could sign Mbappe and Bellingham tomorrow and it won't change much. The problem with them is a bit more deep rooted, it's a certain flair and lack of 'ballsy' players for a lack of a better word. It just feels like a really good u-21 team. They play lovely, but don't have a Roy Keane to really get them over the line.

Funnily enough, they had that with Xhaka.

I was lucky enough to call it a few games into the season - Arsenal will finish 4th if they finish in CL at all.

Sounds like the same as a lot of fans where they can see they money that they've spent but put the blinkers on and can't see what everyone else is doing

Man city have obviously spent more, Liverpool still have a better team, us... Yeah I can see that, we have a better manager (which they will refuse to accept and must be hurting them)

And then for the money they've spent rice they'll no doubt love, havertz was the wrong signing as they needed a striker, timber I think would have been a good signing done his knee didn't he?

The real criticism should be that they've made a mess of the keeper situation and theyve done nothing to address saka playing too many games and nkeitah not being good enough (hence why the havertz signing was a bad one)

Id say they're the 3rd best team in the league realistically looking like they'll finish 3rd, not sure what else their fans expect

Don't think Arteta can recover from the videos that have emerged online, nobody can take him seriously as an individual now.

i take it, this is what you’re referring to?

utterly cringe inducing - such a painful watch.

Anyone ripped off by Salt Bollock deserves all the ridicule coming their way.

Yep doing humiliating stuff is not a good idea for a football manager, a bit like the time Mourinho was doing paddy power ads but worse.

The least you can expect considering the absolute shitload he's spent with practically piss all from player sales.

Huge if true. Another team in transition if he goes and ends up at Barca. Emery’s time to shine at Villa!

Imagine spending all that money and pretty much bottling completing the job

He shouldnt get another job in football after this if he walks out
