Has Andy Carroll ever actually been that good when he is fit? Ridiculously overrated IMO

Andy Carroll is a very good player but in the right formation and system. Tippy tappy football and he be crap but lump balls into the box and probably no better striker around in the air

Just came here to post the petition link, signed. Upto >15k now.

Its not West Ham's fault though is it but they are clearly getting a huge competitive advantage here.

A Freedom of Information (FOI) request previously revealed West Ham contributed £15m to the £272m conversion of the stadium.

The LLDC, which owns the stadium, will pay for "facilities and services" such as pitch maintenance and for stewarding on match days, which can cost £2.5m annually.

'Beyond football tribalism'

It is understood West Ham, which earned £76m in Premier League payments last season, will pay up to £2.5m a year in rent.

In comparison, Manchester City, who moved into the former Commonwealth Games venue, pay overheads on top of £4m rent, while Chelsea and Tottenham are expected to pay between £11m and £15m a year to play at Wembley on a temporary basis.

It just shows you what a haemorrhage of money the Olympics is. Imagine wasting £8billion pounds of tax payers money on building white elephant facilities so a load of drugged up "athletes" can run around in circles or dive into a pool of water. If a journalist did some digging into the full Olympic "legacy" the wastage would be eye watering. I'd say West Ham is just the tip of the iceberg.
