Summer Speculation 2015

Just out of curiosity, would people be happier if we'd brought the same players but for more money?

I just think people see places in the squad where we can still improve coupled with little net spending. That should allow for more space for further improving the squad which is something we should do imo. Still think we'll get a few more in before the window shuts and an equal amount out. Here's lookin' at you, Zoggy.

Why the hell would Cuadrado come here.

He would be on the first flight back to Fiorentina if that was the case.

He won't get used to the premier league playing in Italy. If he has a future at Chelsea he needs game time it'd be a long shot based on a tenuous link with Sanchez but who'd have thought Stoke would be signing the players they are?

Hang on a minute, a minute ago he was being shown round the city by Sanchez? Now it's a tenuous link to Sanchez?

Still believe we need to get rid of some players before we bring in. The squad is too big. If we have players on 30k pw not in the squad, that would be terrible financially. If only we could get rid of n'zogbia.

N'zogbia isn't going anywhere. He is going to see out his contract.

Sanchez and Cuadrado were together in Birmingham nothing transfer related so that's why it's tenuous. It's a speculation thread you know where you speculate.

Afobe, I would like to see what he does this season to be honest. No doubt he was great last year.

Wilson wouldn't come here and nor should he. He needs to be playing games every week and we are not in a position to offer him that.

Signed him for Newport County on a free in FM12. Absolute goal machine for me and got us from the conference to the championship in 5 seasons or something ridiculous.

That's about as far as my knowledge extends on him though. Bit of a soft spot for him though based on his virtual performances

What the hell, we signed Ayew and WBA signed Rondon....nothing against Ayew, but wow. Fair play to them. Big player....quite literally!

And Shaqiri to Stoke...well, fair play to them too....suddenly our amazing transfer window looks fairly even across the league.

It's far from amazing.

I think that's unfair on the business we have done.

They are good names no doubt but I am very happy with the business we have done, a few more signings and a few departures and we should be in for a good season.
