Inconsistent for a new player in a new country No. The reaction today is that he had probably the worst game ever seen from a Villa player and should've been gone at half time. It's not necessarily Sanchez' fault; sometimes you just have off days. Recall game in season when Man united played Southampton and McNair was all over the place like Sanchez was and Van Gaal hauled him off before half time.Lambert should of done the same today with Sanchez. Good to see he looked angry with his own performance when he got subbed, shows he cares. No need to panic, even if we have to rest him a bit for Westwood occasionally.
