Things that piss you off that shouldn't

I keep agreeing to play football on Saturdays (we have to give availability midweek) and then when Saturday comes round I’m tired and a bit hungover and it’s too late to think up an excuse. And now I have to go and run around a rock hard, bumpy field trying to control a football that is bouncing all over the place.

Broke the seat in my car a few months back, couldn't find a single one anywhere so bought a full set, different colour leather, with the electric memory. None on the Rover forum so used ebay.

Had them fitted yesterday, **** great.

Then I go on the Rover forum and some **** is selling a set for forty quid less than I paid . Bit bastard late!

Got a new kitchen bin. It's got these arms at the top that you're supposed to wrap the top of the bin bag around then fold them back down.

So to get the bag out you've got to tease away the edges of the bag from behind these bars (the bag is obviously covered in crud) and then as you try and pull the heavy bag out of the bin these bars get dragged up and start clamping around the full bag like jaws so keep pulling them back whilst teasing the bag out of the bin a bit at a time.

It's just **** shit, a terrible piece of design. I absolutely hate it.

How did we ever become obsessed with puting rubbish in bin bags? Why did keeping rubbish in the house in bags become a thing? Why don't we just chuck the rubbiish straight in the bin like our parents did without bags

This. Got rid of the kitchen bin. Now stuff goes straight into the big grey council wheelie bin. No unnecessary plastic.

Because without bags, disgusting stinky gunk ends up coating the inside surfaces of the bin (kitchen or outside).

Perhaps more recycling would massively cut down the bin bag / bin juice problem?

We have cooked food waste, compost, then all the various bits of recycling. The end result is, we put out about half a black bag of ‘rubbish’ once a fortnight.

I’d suggest we’re fairly average, I’m not a vegan yoghurt nazi, so if we can get down to half a bag a fortnight…
