Who was the defender who tried to shoulder barge him off the ball but rebounded like he'd just tried to shoulder charge a steel girder and actually dislocated his shoulder?

Hilarious moment.

Man U player as a clue

An injury and a bad post-Villa move prevented Benteke from being one of the greats of this generation. His game was ridiculous, at such a young age. One of those "what if?" scenarios.

Some of his goals were just phenomenal. Possibly my personal favourite was the dummy and smash into the corner at the Hawthorns. Out of absolutely nothing, as many of his goals were.

Front page of Washington Post, too: https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/05/11/dc-united-atlanta-united-christian-benteke/

“ATLANTA — When it comes to aerial expertise, D.C. United’s Christian Benteke has no peers in MLS. Not only is he tall and strong, but he gets into the right positions and times his leaps to perfection before snapping a header with the power of a foot-driven shot.

“The Belgian striker brought his midair show to Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday night, scoring with his head three times in a 36-minute span bridging halftime as United claimed a 3-2 victory over Atlanta.”

Another hattrick tonight.

5 players have gotten three hattricks in 13 games in the MLS? Aguero got 12 in ten seasons. Haaland has 6 in two seasons. Sounds like a ridiculous league

The DC United crest looks very close to spelling out word removed.
