Not that further evidence for the prosecution were needed.

That question could refer to any of the three of them.   Well, maybe not Junior, since he doesn't really have a career to begin with.

I have noticed that there are several people on here who are really into their conspiracy theories.

I have no doubt that 1% of conspiracy theories might have some truth in them. But I wonder if someone who is into these conspiracies can answer a few questions.

1. Why are they undertaken in the most complicated way possible?

Examples -

I want to fake a terrorist act to justify a war.  I  could get 1 man to drive 1 truck full of explosives into a maternity hospital.  Or I could place demolition charges on 2 New York tower blocks, hijack 3 planes, fly 2 of those planes into the tower blocks and then detonate the demolition charges a short time afterwards.

If I want to discredit a person I could raid their house and plant evidence of child porn on their laptop.  Or I could find a group of people from his past who have verifiable contact, persuade them to fake evidence of sexual abuse and hope none of them reveal the plot to frame him.

2. Why are they so badly planned?

Examples -

I want to murder a British Princess.  I arrange for a drunk driver to drive at high speed into a tunnel wall.   Of the 4 people in the car 3 died.  The one that lived wore a seat belt.  Why go to all that trouble when a seat belt could have lead to my target walking away.

911 might not have happened if 2 captains had remained in the cockpit and/or a group of passengers had fought back.

3. What's the point?

Examples -

I believe the world is a globe.  Who is gaining from me not realising its flat?

Will Russel Brand stop raising conspiracy theories?  Even if he did, what about the million other people saying the same thing?

Welcome to life.

I think the simplest way I can approach this is to draw attention to the point of view that a deliberate and intentional lie that's purpose is to deceive or manipulate, will not or ever be entirely false.

If you see something's bullshit, you never believe it, it holds no weight or power. Lace a lie with truths can and will lead astray and you have a powerful weapon, harmful as it may be.

Truth sets us free. It's far from sunshine and rainbows but it's power is unfathomable. You may say that's my opinion, sure, it is. If you're interested in why, then we can discuss that if we come to it.

2. Why are they so badly planned?

They aren't.

The ones operated by those at the top of the hierarchy or power structure in terms of influence and having people adhere and conform to a strategic plan and agenda, have their ways down to a science, almost.

Again, I'm willing to engage the discussion with you @Mandy Lifeboats or anyone with a genuine and sincere interest in bettering our understanding.

3. What's the point?

Each to their own.

From what I've found their is a vast amount gain that allows for leverage over and against anyone who does not possess sufficient clout to compete or combat it. Spiritual and mental oppression of others with less ensues.

If the three Latin phrases on the dollar bill of the United States are anything to go by..

  1. "He has approved our undertakings"
  2. "A new order of the ages"
  3. "Out of many come one"

Life is oftentimes down to how we interpret it, so I want to emphasis my input here is to add to a healthy and hopefully insightful discussion, and so I don't want to come across as my feelings or views being in any way above or beyond scrutiny and discernment.

I interpret those three phrases, given my life's journey and what I've been exposed to, to mean that some entities, people, are working towards an agenda they believe they have a God/Devil given right to pursue, and bring about so that it may have life of it's own.

@A'Villan

Thanks for the reply.   Much appreciated.

I would love to discuss this with you.  But "conspiracy theories" cover a wide range of topics.

Maybe you could outline one of the "conspiracy theories" that you feel has real merit and we could discuss specific details?

I would like to make it clear that I believe 99% conspiracy theories are utter rubbish. But I accept that 1% are well justified.

Over to you.  What is a high profile conspiracy theory that you can debate?
