Look as where Newcastle have got from where they were on a big but not outrageous spend. Problem with Liverpool and the like is they feel they have to make high profile signings, have to spend their way to success. Why not make their scouts work a little harder? To get from where they were to 3rd shouldn't cost anywhere near as much as Newcastle have spent. Or is Klopp just admitting he isn't a very good manager compared to someone like Howe and can only flourish is he can go and buy a load of Bellinghams. Klopp has done pretty well winning a league title and a Champions League, even while having a cheating Man City in the league. Challenging for a top 4 spot in one thing. I’m pretty sure everyone for the last couple seasons has been saying he should be playing in midfield because he’s absolutely shit at defending. Touchline bans dont work nor do paltry fines, it's time now that this is punished by points deduction.
