Gabby Agbonlahor

I remember his first full pre season. Not only did he use is athletic capabilities to enhance our attacking threat, he defended from the front, he pressed high up the pitch, he never gave defenders a moments rest. He was so hungry and eager.

Now look at him, and look at the desire Defoe shows everytime he steps on the pitch. I am sure he had better aspirations than seeing out his final years playing under Big Sam at a shit club in a shit city. He is and always has been a model professional.

Gabby is not even 30 either. **** off you prick. Any legacy you may have had is gone now.

Defoe went to the mls and realised the premier league is the place to be. Gabby is just not very good

It's just what fame and money have done, reduces your hunger at a club where you know you'll play more often than not. He's never seemed particularly bothered about playing for England. Even at his peak he was pulling out of plenty of squads so that's something that may have motivated him last few years if he was bothered about that.

Imagine if he started getting waved away from VIP night club sections on account of not having premier league status, he'd be bothered then I'm sure.

well hes got another 2 years on his contract here, and is anybody seriously going to want him?

the position the club is in now, we have many first teamers who arent very good in the premier league, some however might be better suited to the championship, some wont, but how do we know who we can rely on in a league lower? gabby is another one of those players

we would even have difficulty sending him out on loan, no premier league club next season will want him, nor will any league 1 club want to contribute to his wages.

Have to disagree here slightly but only in the sense that with all the money available to Premiership Clubs next season I could see someone taking him, even if only on loan. He can be a squad filler and/or impact sub for someone.  A Stoke, West Brom or a newly promoted club possibly?  I hope that is the case anyway!

Gained another stone or two during the last few weeks?

Noticed this!! The Pie & Pint deal at his bar on Broad Street "Oh Velvet" that his brother is bar manager of must be very tempting.

This last week alone he has put about 3 stone on and made 3 more girls pregnant who was taking advantage of the BOGOF deal at the bar!!

absolutely can't stand the guy. he is useless, anyone on this thread who thinks he is of value to AVFC needs their heads examined. If he is with us next year we will not progress. the guy is sucking the life out of this great great club. He embodies the failings of the last 4/5 years! I cannot stand him, he has become fat and lazy coupled with very very comfortable. He is overweight and clearly dosent care about us. The new manager whoever he is should make him the number 1 departure. WE WILL NOT PROGRESS UNTILL HE IS LET GO! he is a disgrace to football!

Over the course of the season Brad Guzan has almost run as far as Gabby Agbonlahor, although the No.1 has had more than twice as many minutes on the pitch.

On average Westwood runs 11.42 kilometres a match in the Premier League.

Captain Micah Richards is the outfield Villa player who covers the least distance per match - 8.71km!

The figures have been provided by the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, the Official Player Rating Index of the Barclays Premier League.

Jordan Ayew (11.27 km), Carles Gil (11.26 km). Jack Grealish (11.11 km) and Jordan Veretout (10.87 km) complete the top 5 of Villa’s hardest workers based on an average of 90 minutes.

In the bottom five of Villa’s outfield players, along with Richards, are Jores Okore (9.03 km), Gabby Agbonlahor (9.18 km), Ciaran Clark (9.54 km) and Rudy Gestede (9.47 km).
