This Could Be Rotterdam
Yes. Pain can be disguised in different ways. Sometimes it is psychological, like when supporters abuse him. I'm almost certain this is a joke. Although my belief may come more from really hoping that no one actually believes this.
Shaw_nuff
Gabby wants to try watching this shite through the pain. Especially with forks in your eyes.

Popular Post Richard
Agbonlahor apologies for feeling sick Speaking exclusively today Mr Agbonlahor, the rarely used sub contractor at the front of the organisation of Aston Villa, opened his heart and apologised for feeling sick while the customer base were visiting the workplace yesterday. He said "As a sub cntractor only used when it is absolutely necessary I understand that our customer base would expect better, the truth is I was going to perform better but on Saturday night while watching TV and relaxing at home my rather large arse sat on my phone and ordered a four course takeaway meal, two pizzas, a large coke and an extra portion of fish and chips. This was done purely accidentally and when ordered it also gave my exact address and confirmed the total price. So when it arrived I felt duty bound really to take it in and eat the food, or else the delivery man would have been upset and he is a customer of ours so I am keen not to upset our customer base. Thats the reason why I felt sick. I have informed the departmental head Mr Garde but I cannot guarantee it will not happen again as my phone is a smart phone, well smarter than me anyway. Apologies for that"

PussEKatt
Maybe the board could put up the money to buy 11 smart phones and use them against Stoke, surely we would get a better performance from a smart phone than from this shower.

True fans, which I believe everyone posting on this site is, feel anguish when their team struggle. It goes with the territory. Doing what you suggest, actually calls into question their commitment to the club, and really isn't a worthy suggestion.

Let's bombard the opposition with nasty, mean messages about their mother and their clothes and their cars, they won't even be able to field 10 players. We still might lose, but we might have a fighting chance !!!

So is supporters suggesting that a player should change teams because they don't like him.
dont_do_it_doug.
Of course it is silly. So is supporters suggesting that a player should change teams because they don't like him. No it isn't. That's the bread and butter of football, how good the players your team owns are at playing football. If you don't think a player is any good then you don't want him playing for your club anymore?

Sure, but where are they supposed to go? If nobody wants them or are not willing to pay them as much/little as Aston Villa, or the club doesn't want to sell to a relegation rival, or..or...or... should the player just hang up his boots or take a pay cut because some supporters are vile against him? It's Your Round
I'm not sure any player is a fan of a club any way near to the way that we are. It's like when your non-football watching mate claims to support man united! Do they really care? I doubt it.
