Stevo985 Posted February 24, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 24, 2015 Don't disagree with that. But that's Mourinho's thing. Shift blame from his players, deflect attention onto himself and create a siege mentality amongst his squad.
ThunderPower_14
Where is this alternative universe where time slows down and players can convene a committee meeting to contemplate and discuss the various positioning possibilities of their feet and legs, all during the heat of Premier League play? The Matrix? Kung Fu Panda? And why not get up and apologize if it was by accident? The reaction of the players says it was deliberateMaybe he just thinks Matic is a word removed and didn't care that he'd caught him on the following through I maintain that at full speed it's pretty difficult to argue that Barnes did anything wrong. villa89
But that's Mourinho's thing. Shift blame from his players, deflect attention onto himself and create a siege mentality amongst his squad. And get loads of attention for himself which he craves. The whole thing is so see through its unreal but yet the media lap it up.
Czechlad
That should have been a straight red card. Matic had full right to be angry. That tackle could easily have broke him leg.
Dr_Pangloss
I'm not bothered cos he plays for Chelsea.
Zatman
well apparently Barnes made 3 horrible tackles in the game but he was spot on that imagine if that was Costa, you would have that moron Redknapp going mad about it
Jimzk5
The FA have just given mourinho more ammunition by reducing matic' ban from 3 games to 2, either its a red card or it isn't.

Pathetic by the F.A. but we shouldn't be surprised.

ChrisVillan
Because of the lack of force. They threw his provocation defence out.
Stevo985 Posted February 28, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 28, 2015 Its a red. For violent conduct. Either it is a red card and a 3 match ban or it's not a red card. Reducing it to 2 is farcical.
AVFC_Hitz
I agree with Barry Glendenning. Why the hell wasn't it increased? Regardless of the incident that occurred before he's raised his arms and pushed over an opponent.
Marka Ragnos Posted March 1, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted March 1, 2015 Because that push is like a little girl's push? I wouldn't call it violent. It's more embarrassing.
ChrisVillan
Because that push is like a little girl's push? I wouldn't call it violent. It's more embarrassing. The laws of the game only account for such things when it's a Chelsea player.
Dodgyknees
I notice Chelsea didn't get done for failing to keep control of their players.

If it's not violent conduct, then it's not a red card. If it is violent conduct, then it's a red card and a 3 game ban. There is no middle ground in the rules. Unless you're a big club it would seem. The_Rev
Nemanja Matic injured himself whilst pulling a John Terry last weekend Steve Morrow approves of this injury. I'm the 100th person to point it out by now, but why did Jose Mourinho not complain about "minute twenty two" in which Eden Hazard's offside goal was allowed to stand? Big Sam grumbled, nobody cared because he isn't in charge of a club with legions of glory hunting fans.
