Yeah in the Premiership.

Once promising Aston Villa player touted to be a future star ends up becoming a nothing player after being found out a season into his career who languishes in the Championship or worse for the rest of it.

See also...

Graham Fenton

Rob Edwards

Peter Whittingham

The Moore brothers

Barry Bannan

Nathan Delfouneso

etc etc

He has been found out. Cant cross, no pace and cant beat a man now that everyone known he is completely ineffective on his left peg. Nowhere near a Premier League player.

bit harsh on Whittingham, who has worked his way back to Premier League now. certainly not been a 'nothing player' for Cardiff.

Actually in that first season it he looked like the best crosser at the club and we had downing and young in the side! Also none of the players mentioned in that list had the kind of injury problems Albrighton has had except for maybe Fenton.  Albrighton looked very lively in that cup hammering we received against tottenham, he tore fryers to shreds and showed good pace.  He had half an exceptional season follow by an average half season and then Mcleish and injury started to plague him! He shown potential.  IF he can stay fit and get games he can be a good solid premiership player I am sure! Not sure if its a good thing but Owen Coyle seem to agree with me!

He can cross, but only with his right foot and given space. Take that away and he has nothing

In fairness, take any footballer's right foot away and he'd be pretty rubbish.
