265 mins without conceding a goal.

264 mins since Hutton got injured.

I think there might be a correlation :)

I love Hutton but it doesn't look good for him does it?

I had this conversation with my sons yesterday. Hutton may bust his balls sprinting up the right wing time after time to link with our front men, but he's a goal leaking liability as an out of position defender.

He helps our opponents by stretching our defence out making it disjointed and forcing his colleagues to cover for him.

With him out our opponents no longer have that advantage.

Other teams genuinely let him have it. Then he looses it way over the half way line and they break into the big void he has left.

Jesus people, he's been a great servant of our club who has probably played his last game for us.

Is it necessary to keep criticising him?

Exactly.

Take a day off and change the record.

Out of interest what teams did we play before and after?

The stats suggest otherwise.

i like Hutton. Good professional. But his positioning and tracking is very poor. Players run off him with ease

Perhaps, dunno what they are.

Stats can do one. Jack Grealish and Conor Hourihane are wonderful examples of how misleading they can be.

Ok stats aside it’s all down to opinions and for me if you want your right back to be all action, last minute slide tackles and bombing up the pitch on every opportunity then Hutton’s your man.

If you prefer to him to read the game better so doesn’t have to do last minute challenges and a little more selective with when to run forward then Elmo’s your man. Unfortunately you do lose that agression with Elmo so he will rarely go to ground with a tackle.

I prefer Elmo but I can understand why some would prefer Hutton.

Since he's been injured I don't think Hutton bas been missed at all. Which also brings me to what I said some months ago in how we need to move on from some of those players from seasons ago.

Fair play to Hutton he's had his moments but I don't think he can perform and longer in the championship, he will have his moments but he doesn't half mess up at times as well.

Coincidence since Jack has been back imo.
