foreveryoung
My wish list come may 1. We stay up before the last 3 games 2. The season ends and I can forget this season ever happened. 3. Andi is transfer listed. What about Wembley ? Gil plays instead of Weimann at Wembley.
PieFacE Posted March 21, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted March 21, 2015 The bloke is not a premier league footballer. Absolutely useless. If we can sell in the summer, we should.
VillaChris
Play him through the middle they cried.....and he did naff all. That's the problem, his touch is so poor nowadays the ball just dosen't stick with him upfront so attacking moves just break down with him. That's the point people are missing when they say stick him down the middle and he'll score a shed load of goals routine.
PaulC
I thought he did ok. Played his part in creating that chance for Sinclair at the end.

Razor
One of our worst ever players imo. Sherwood playing him instead of Gil is really concerning.

He's probably not even in the bottom 50% of those who've played in the last four years.

United? Gabby is thank the lord in a rich vein of form currently and while he's not amazing as a lone forward he can still unsettle defences and hold it up reasonably well when in form which is now. Weimann just can't do those things imo, he can just run around and occasioningly show decent poacher finish when the ball is flying around the box. VillanousOne
If Zog, Hutton, Clark can turn their careers around for us then there is hope for Weimann Gabby was getting dog's abuse a few weeks back (deserved mostly) then he started scoring again. I know Zog and Gabby have more to do, but Weimann has the pace and the scoring ability he just needs confidence.

There's far more about NZog, Hutton and Clark (natural ability) and Gabby (raw pace which is still a threat) compared to the work rate Weimann had pre contract 2 years ago, he's a waste of a shirt that pisses his contract up the wall on a weekly basis and laughs at those who pay his way whilst doing so! word removed! Weimann has pace and he can finish, not sure why he has been so poor this season and I would hope Sherwood can eventually get the best out of him. But then again he might not and it maybe that Weimann will thrive a league down. He's still 23 so not sure why so much hate is being aimed at him, i don't think effort, workrate/attitude and willingness to succeed are an issue with Andi, so to suggest he somehow doesn't care is delusional.
Condimentalist
No need for the abuse. Weimann seems like a good kid but he doesn't really have the talent. If we wants to stick around as a a squad member fine but it might be best for all parties if he leaves in the summer.
Farlz
Weimann does not have pace and he can barely finish.

gharperr
he can not finish at all. The amount of shots which he "scuffs" is ridiculous. Imo he is one of the worst players in our squad. Infact, he might even be the worst (ignoring the obvious youth players). He basically does what defoe does, head down as far as possible and just tries to hit the ball as hard as he can and prays it goes somewhere.....At least defoe can actually hit the ball cleanly a decent amount though. And when he does try to place it, he must have one of the weakest shots for a striker in the prem. the literally only thing hes good at is running Edited April 2, 2015 by gharperr
