Emery's reign has obviously been incredibly refreshing but both United games this season really have felt like same old. A total lack of composure at both ends of the pitch have killed us there, and yet again the general lack of physicality in the team exposed by both goals.

Have been saying it for weeks, but they really need to start putting a run together again ASAP because it's been stodgy stuff since the start of December but they're still in a position to do something great this season.

If Ramsey had his boots on the right feet we win that by two or three , their winner was inevitable once we didn’t make them pay 

if Bailey wasn’t injured then this one is on Emery

 tbf our play second half was pretty decent , was just the finishing that let us down 

worrying that our battle in Dec  was for top spot and now we are battling for 5th or 6th

Who honestly expected any other result? Yes, we played well, but you don't deserve anything if you miss your chances and that game was all about OUR missed chances. Three home losses in a row. Season in serious danger of dribbling to a conclusion. Absolutely classic Villa. Well played United.

While Ramsey was far better than he has been his decision making was very poor. We need his energy but I'm not sure he did 1 thing correctly with the final ball.

Taking off Bailey ended pur attacking threat, very stupid to take him off bearing in mind he was getting the ball and doing something with it.

Tielemans another poor showing after midweek.

Not sure why these players have dropped off a cliff form wise but it's derailing our season.

 

On the only plus side, we out played them for 75 minutes and if the correct final ball was made, should have scored 3 or 4 more goals.

Another crap weekend another wasted 3 points and further away from the top 4.

Not sure how, but we're mentally fragile again. A team that only plays when they're behind. No urgency or will to win.

I’m actually not that annoyed by the performance. I think on another day (and likely against another team) we’d have scored 4 or 5 and won that game easily. 

Having to watch Lenglet for another 90mins is the most disappointing thing.

Our subs were useless. I don’t see the point of bringing on Zaniolo anymore. And Tielemans added nothing. Taking off Bailey was complete madness. 

Hopefully Bouba isn’t too bad but it looked a sore one.

Played much better than recently and thats positive. Deserved something out of this. Really need the injured defenders back (playing not on bench).
