Happy with the result. Hopefully, Zaniolo gets some more time against Hibs in the week. Great performances from McGinn, Kamara, Luis and Cash.

He can't play in Hibs game

Other than 10mins after HT where the entire defence shat itself, that was a comfortable win against a side we should be beating.

Carlos, Kamara, Dougie, Diaby, Cash all excellent but McGinn was on another level and really drove us forward, so gave him MOTM.

Happy Bank Holiday 💜🩵

Not normally a fan of playing 3 CBs but we made it work by giving them the runaround when pressing. Then when we passed through the lines picked up pace and they couldn't handle it, especially Diaby who is just so smart and great at little passes in tight areas, as well as taking a really good goal, he made a difficult chance look easy.

Great away performance, really well set up tactically, big kudos to the manager who shows again why he's one of the best in the league and we're so lucky to have him.

Good 3 points on the road. Back to Emery's average of 2pts a game too 😀

Lots of plusses and a lot more to come from this team, Zaniolo needs to play more with his new team mates but I think it was pretty clear that he's a baller even from today. Diaby was amazing, McGinn, Kamara, Luiz, Cash all top quality.

Tactically very good from Emery today, first half they were chasing shadows, we always had an easy pass on and controlled things. Happy days.

As long as we can solidify the defense. Terrified to see Pau against the likes of Nunez and Salah.

They'll take time to get the balance right. As long as the attack stays potent we can not drop too many points.

Feels like we've barely scratched the surface of our attacking potential. Diaby has settled so well and Zaniolo looks a player!

I think the only thing that stopped us from getting a 4th goal was a little bit of hunger when we'd have unlocked them fairly trivially if we kept moving the ball around.

You have to be happy with a 2 goal away win.

Smashing result, only saw the second half so hard to justly award a man of the match.

Rode a little bit of a storm at the start of the second half but then scored a great goal and managed it beautifully. We’ve navigated the first European week swimmingly although it won’t again be Wednesday-Sunday which will have a bearing (less so when we can call upon  Moreno, Ramsey, Coutinho and Dendoncker again).

I think we should just get on with gifting Unai the keys to Aston Manor and declare him Emperor of Aston, with statues n shit. The guy’s unbelievable.

We played really well in certain parts of the game and other parts we looked awful, however for the most part it was a professional performance from us and think, like the hibs game midweek, we won 3-1 without really trying too much. We will need to be much better to get a win against Liverpool next time out, but its nice to be 6th place in the table after 3 games and a positive GD after the nightmare season opener....UTV, roll on our first european home game in 13 years this Thursday!

Fantastic first half, pretty average second half.

Think we got lucky with the third goal and it killed the game.

Definitely some bright bits, though.  The organisation (first half) was superb, our midfield is so calm and we pass the ball really well.  Watkins and Diaby will cause all teams problems all season long and Zaniolo looks like he'll be fun to watch.  It's a good win against a decent Burnley side.
