useless Posted June 10, 2023 Share Posted June 10, 2023 (edited) A lot of Leicester fans very criticial of Maddison as well, but I doubt many would be questioning us if we signed him, or indeed will be questioning Newcastle if/when they sign him. Pretty much all their players that were once lauded for playing so well, for whatever reason have since had a drop in form; Söyüncü, Pereira, Ndidi, Tielemans, Maddison, Barnes, and Vardy, have all come under criticism this season for not playing as well as they had previously shown, with Vardy probably an age thing, butTielemans not the only one, so maybe other factors at play. Very happy with the signing, he offers something a little different with his ability to break defences with key passes in games. Emery will get the very best out of him.
