Also has experience in Europe He was once one of the most highly rated young Midfielders in Europe. Having a poor season in a team where the whole team has been absolutely shite should not necessarily be the death knell. Wouldn't be my firs choice, but on a free, and IF Unai wants him, we could do much worse. Just view it as Sanson Out, Tielmans in, for example. Think how poorly thought of McGinn was 6 months ago, and look at him now. If anyone can get Tielemans back to his best, Emery can. A squad of interchangeable players will help villa to stay competitive in the league and the cups. Also, he was highly rated a season or two ago.
