The co-commentator was biased to the point is was almost funny. When Martinez was kicked in the hand he said "Martinez jammed his hand into the defender and injured himself".

yeah who was that pr*ck? Thought it was Andy Townsend, but he's squeakier

on the day i think we can say we were unlucky to draw, and on balance probably deserved all 3 points, although we could have lost it also tbf.

However, Spam are one of our bogie teams of recent years with their physicality etc, we also didnt have Kamara, good to see Carlos back on the bench, i would have taken a draw prior to the game.

would have liked a win, but im happy with a point tbh, these are the kind of games we would have lost pre Emery.

Who was co-commentating? Sounded like Andy Townsend but surely he wouldn’t have seen it that way.

A draw was a fair result. We weren’t good enough to win the game really but neither were they. We’re very smart in the way we play and I think Emery was happy with a point the longer the game went on.

Some good performances. I thought Luiz, Watkins and McGinn played well (as they have been the past few weeks). Mings and Konsa were solid and Buendia had a pretty good game too.

Not sure any of us learnt anything new from the game. Our fullbacks need looking at and it’s absolutely imperative we improve upon Bailey who is consistently the worst player on any pitch he walks onto.

Joke penalty  but we showed enough to win it , Watkins and Duran had two great  chances. Considering  West Ham are down the bottom they showed  no real fight , their in trouble if other teams can get a run together.

Our high line was exposed a fair bit but they wasn't good enough to beat it or we was to cute for them. Wish our players would play the ball rather then waving for offsides.

A draw was probably a fair result. Either team could have won that.

A number of players are just not good enough - Bailey, Chambers and Cash.

Duran is right in there, really getting stuck in. Will be interesting to see how he progresses.

Someone who sounded like Robbie Earle was on the vo at half time saying it was a soft penalty

Tony Gale has that Carragher thing where he spends the entire game animatedly armchair managing what he thinks his former club should do to win as if they're the protagonists of the story, its very tiresome

Pretty underwhelming and meh. Game we should’ve won but lacking quality. Soft pen for them and not sure why the same wasn’t applied by VAR for ours.

Cash and Ramsey poor and Bailey atrocious as always.

Point away looks better if we beat Bournemouth. Otherwise it feels like the season will finish with a limp to potentially 10th.

Emery will know there’s plenty of work to progress us. Today made it clear.

A point away from home isn’t a bad result, particularly given our record against the spunk bubble blowers. Their penalty shouldn’t have stood, but they also could have scored more if they/Benrhama could finish properly. I thought we played well in large parts, our passing and patience is so much better these days. We just miss that final piece of quality. Bailey isn’t going to take us to that next level, neither is Traore. We need a big upgrade there for next season.
