The manager deserves credit for keeping the self - belief amongst the players, it certainly showed tonight and we got what we deserved.

It boils my blood. We play a 4-3-3 with two holding midfielders and a bit of pace and ball carrying ability out wide and look at us.

Gerrard may be the luckiest manager in the world tonight. I don’t think he picks that team against any other side. Hopefully, he learns from today and plays that team moving forward with the exception of McGinn for Coutinho. Ramsey on the left gives us work rate, cover and speed. Bailey gives us goal threat on the right and we look more solid when the fullbacks don’t play as second strikers. 

Honestly, I’m not getting carried away, because I don’t think we’re that great and we’ve had a poor transfer window, but this team should not be in the relegation zone. I think this squad is good enough to fight for a top half finish, even if we don’t manage it. 

If Gerrard IS to continue here as manager, please, please, please learn from today. Play Luiz and Kamara together and stick to a formation that suits our squad.

Gerrard.  Please learn that this is how you setup a team. You don't play a formation that pulls the midfield completely away from the middle of the park

Deserved a draw, corrupt officials prevented us winning. Not sure how I feel. 

Can Gerrard be trusted to keep picking a sensible formation? Does he deserve a chance to show that he can?

Young changed the game when he came on.

Simply his ability to always look for the forward pass really altered our dynamic.

Kudos must be given to Gerrard for altering the shape which restricted Citys attacking game.
