Fenerbahce away will be a daunting environment, but not sure if Olympiakos away 2nd leg, knowing if they go through they have a home Final, will be any better!
One thing I will say about the ref though, is that he was spot on and bold with all the big decisions. For example, telling all the Lille players to do one as their GK rightly crashed into his own teammate.
There are two simple ways to potentially avoid replays that satisfy the "big" clubs while still providing a chance for lower league teams to reap the financial benefits of a replay:
1) "big" club has to be good enough to win the match the first time around
2) if the "big" club doesn't want a replay, they can forfeit
I didn't mean that VAR should not have intervened (I think it was a red, personally), but it just feels "right" and "natural" that any contentious point is due to how it used to / should be, not re-refereeing
