Pointless loaning him

Don't agree.

We lost Carlos - we needed cover. The fact we didn't need to use him is down to a combination of not getting more injuries, or picking up suspensions. We perhaps got lucky.
If we'd done nothing and something went wrong, we'd have been playing Feeney and Revan.

You can't judge something with hindsight - we took the best option available at the time.

The strangest thing about this player is when you watch him warming up or at half time, his touch and ability you'd think he was Zidane.

No joke. When you watch him playing one and two touch over 10, 20, 50 yards it's a joke.

I was sat at half time in the Leeds game watching him and Nakamba keep warm.

Naka was smashing the ball 50 yards at him, he took it on the volley, controlled, 2 or 3 keepy uppies and launched a sumptuous volley back at Naka pin point over 50 yards. Ball never touched the floor.

Did this repeatedly for 15 mins. Never missed one.

Gets on the pitch and looks like a league 2 donkey!

He does it every week and never misses a beat. It's insane.

Waste of space. We should never of signed him. Bye

Ridiculous post. We had a long term injury to our new signing and he was brought in as cover. The best situation is we get no injuries to our CBs and we never use him.

That is a good outcome. Not getting more injuries to our CBs. Is paying car insurance pointless if you don't crash that year?

Because we didn’t get unlucky with injuries. But we couldn’t have had Mings, Konsa and Chambers as our only CB options for 6 months.

And looking at end of last season. Hause got injured, Konsa got suspended for 2 games for a red card and then did his knee. We had only 2 fit CBs from 4 for large parts of the final 19 games last season.

It makes sense.

Just making up the numbers here and given the cheap goals Saints give away from set pieces like Ollie's winner he can surely make a difference there.

Would assume Carlos will be back involved within four weeks so don't think we'll be signing anyone to replace him. Dendoncker played a few times for Wolves at the back so he will be emergency option in case of endless injuries.
