I think Sanson had to play with his energy and invention from midfield. It was a close game but they were better in the bigger moments. Fabianski made some big saves.

Exactly liks the other leeds game, we look tired and freshing up but nope stick the same and we lose.

West ham had key players misisng too what a opportunity missed.

We really should've got Buendia on at hour mark and given Coutinho more of a free role just off the CF so less need for him to track back.

After a pretty good few weeks frustrating for Gerrard to throw in SPL level game management today again.

As manager of Rangers you can get away with it most times, less so in prem and he needs to learn for next season.

Each game seems to be a contender for the worst refereeing performance of the season and today is no different. He allowed the four thugs (Zouma, Dawson, Rice and Souchek) away with any thing they felt like doing. 

If a ref doesn't think getting kicked in the face is a red card I worry about him.

West Ham wanted it more. Dirty side but they’re organised too and get so many around the ball.

Disappointing overall. Maybe freshening it up was the way to go.

Yarmolenko and Fabianski won that, we were unlucky to have to bring Young on so early.

Disappointing. Should have freshened the side up before kick off. Starting Sanson or Buendia or both even..2 games in 3 days is too much. Need to learn lessons. I we have quality on the bench. Use it more often please otherwise we might as well sell them and just have a bench full of kids

Struggled against a big team of brutes. Really dire game but they somehow got a couple of goals. Real moment of quality from Yarmolenko but a disappointing second to concede (I felt Bailey had been fouled in the build up but haven’t seen that back). Poor ref I thought. Hopefully we can play a bit more against Arsenal next week. RIP 10 game winning run mkII.

We were better first half , we failed to make the most of our opportunities, West Ham didn’t , could have gone either way not to disheartened by this result.

If we are honest, a few weeks ago, we probably get smacked 5 or 6 nil against these, based on the form we were in.

As in the match thread, as shite as it is to admit, they are simply a better team and more effective team than us right now.

These are the games where a couple of brutes come in handy.

One positive for me, is that Leon looks sharper, and like he was growing in confidence as the game went on.

Oh, and Ramsey is in my FPL.

Dissappointing, but not unexpected . We gave a good account of ourselves for most of it, but the same little things let us down, fine margins.

We still have work to do, and need players.
