That couldn't have gone any worse for us, losing Emi2 and PC, fluke goals, Konza stupidity, an anti- Villa ref and all that with Leeds best performance all season and we still didn't lose, the future is bright.

I'm going to add one more thing...we always seem to have problems with Leeds on the wings. Does anyone else think that maybe the narrow 4-3-3 wasn't right for this opponent? It's served us well for the most part since Gerrard's been here, but you have to have some flexibility.

Not good against a team we should be beating comfortably when they play without their two best players.

Disappointed by the result, but enjoyed the game.

Thought we looked terrible when Buendia was forced off, as Chukwuemeka didn't do anything when he came on in his place. Then when Coutinho went off we were totally toothless.

I think we've got the makings of a really, really good team. But we need a better striker, and we need to sort out the defence somehow. Perhaps that means better defenders, but not necessarily.

Leeds pretty much always do this to us. I fully expected us to lose after they got their equaliser.

We should maybe think about replacing at least two of our starting back 4 in summer, as well as adding a holding midfielder. 

 

Three goals should be enough to win a home game against a team near the relegation zone, the fact we haven't won it is all on our defence and non-existent CM. 

 

Lots and lots of work to do if we are going to push for top 6. After today's result we will be very lucky to finish in the top 10 this season.

How to chuck a game by 3 of the back 4.

Only cash comes out of that with any respect.

Chuck didn't get into the game and watkins another blunt performance.

Special mention to the ref for refusing 3 clear yellows from aiyling and a couple other ones for other dirty Leeds players. Yet gives konsa a yellow for being pulled down.

Disappointed but could see chuck was the wrong sub within 5 minutes and feared they would get another defensive error goal.

Great game, shame we didn't match Leeds energy but not many teams do. This shows how much we are crying out for a midfield destroyer, lamenting Luiz (Who I thought had a decent game) and Mings is pointless when we lack a proper DM. Mings and Konsa will have better games

The good, the bad and the ugly. Frustrating game. Coutinho and Ramsey magic. Some of the defending was poor. McGinn was very quiet tonight. should have come away with the points being 3-1 up.

Shambolic defending all game nearly cost us even a point. That 15 minute spurt should have been more than enough to win the game. 2 points dropped.

Ill disciplined, poor movement, poor game management, just dire apart from the goals. Seriously concerning how easily we allow teams to dominate us down the wings. 

Should probably have been a draw all things considered and on the balance of play but some worrying shit from us considering we are supposed to be getting better.

That second half was as bad as any performance I’ve seen from Villa in the last 10 years, considering the players we now have at our disposal. 
 

Long balls, passing non existent, striker non existent, appalling defending, no effort or urgency to go and win the game. Then to crown it all, crazy indiscipline from Konsa to get a stupid red card. 
 

Gerrard needs to start justifying some of the love he’s receiving. They’ve had three weeks off to work with the team and some of what we witnessed tonight was pathetic.

Offensively we were outstanding.  Clinical when needed to be.  Although it's alarming that Ollie can't get involved.  Defensively...  I don't know what to say...  it was just scary.  Very disappointing to score 3 at home and not get the W.  Hope Buendia and Coutinho are alright.
