Went straight through the back of him with the full weight of him landing on his ankle which got trapped under him. Couldn't put any weight on his foot so I don't think we'll be seeing him in the next few weeks anyway, hopefully not longer as Chambers seemingly can't pass a ball this season so massive downgrade in that area. Hopefully isn't out for rest of season but it looked pretty bad. We are really going to struggle in the midfield with chambers/dendoncker as our backup options. Dendoncker isn't Emery's type of player but he did start the wins v Brentford and Man. United so not like we can't play decent football with him on the pitch. Slotting him in v West Ham would be a decent game aswell as it will be very physical v Rice and Soucek and his height will be important for the set pieces which is frequently our undoing v them. Him and Luiz can alternate dropping infront of the back 4 aswell. Don't wanting to be starting Chambers anytime soon, he's lost all ability to pass a ball this season and hit some terrible ones today. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We’d have had more chance of finally beating West Ham with him. Hopefully he can come back soon as we end the season with some 6 pointers. Hopefully we can grind some results until then.
