While I like the look of Sarr he doesnt seem to be doing anything better than Chuk can do. His biggest strength seems to be on the turn, running forward and his passing.

People in this thread seem to want a tackling defensive mid, Sarr doesnt seem that. Not that I dont want him aswell.

Sarr played as an attacking 8 / orthodox 10 yesterday. I watched the game. Played well mind you.

Young is far better than El Ghazi and Traore

i can't agree with traore...take a look at his highlight reel from last season. the things he did, IMO, young is simply not capable of. traore will always frustrate...but he's got some serious ability

Goals scored ? Assists? Minutes played ? Can't imagine they are remotely similar?

Goals and assists are much better, yes. But everything else is Luiz level. With Bailey and young in the lineup, I don’t see the point in getting another midfielder just like Luiz for his set piece contribution.

have you seen much of ihattaren or madueke?

madueke was the first player linked with dortmund after selling sancho but it went very quiet

I haven't seen either to my knowledge

Belotti linked to West Ham. I'm very happy with Ings... But I'll have a little twang of jealousy if they get that over the line

I thought he looked pretty poor at the Euro's actually. Much prefer Ings and Watkins.

Agree and have had that argument with people on here before. If we could get some consistency out of Traore it'll make the 17m we paid for him look like daylight robbery. Traore's main problem will be that he's horribly one footed. Any team that's done their homework on him should be able to shut him down. On his day against a fullback that's on the slower side or unprepared he'll look very good. He's way better than Trez or AEG.

Madueke looks very good will have a huge future. Scored twice at the weekend against Ajax.
Very left footed and cuts in off the right. I’ve not seen loads, but the highlights look class.

Ihattaren I’ve not seen, but his agent is Raoila and he was banned from training with PSV, so may be problematic, meant to be highly rated though.

Another one... Sounds raoila snapped up a fair few young Dutch talents, unfortunately

But he can do the unexpected with it, look at that touch against city where he sat KDB down. Also he scored a few with his right last yr.

A mix of Bailey and Traore this yr will be so hard to play against.

I get the sense that Smith and Co like to have specialists where available.
