  1. Shown smaller like this (as it would be on socials, web and Apps/League tables), it shows how much more distinctive the new lion is in the smaller formats. The old one looks like a blob
  2. Really? I mean maybe but I always assumed the live "attendance" called out on matchday was usually once they'd reviewed the number of tickets scanned on the turnstiles and allowed for late arrivals and ticket purchases etc. They normally have it in the 2nd half, where as they could easily give it before kickoff if it was just based on tickets sold?
  3. But we're really nitpicking there, when we're talking 2-300 tickets. The efficiencies are pretty good. It could also be wheelchair seating not selling for example. We're getting very close to topping out the efficiencies we can get from the stadium as it is. We have started to see some of this already but the next options will be Increase revenue per fan with drinks/food or hospitality options Increase cost per ticket Increase capacity; stand rebuilds, more safe standing, filling in the corners New stadium Something going to have to give. The cost saved by not building the new North stand will be great, but the revenue desire will be passed onto the fan in one way or another. The balance the club need to find is how much they can screw out of the fans before they need to bite the bullet on a big infrastructure project.
  4. 42,640 is listed as our official capacity. So we sold out and everybody turned up vs Wolves. The rest of the time will be down to a couple of things The Terrace View tickets People not showing up Away Allocations - sometimes seats are blocked from Away purchase but also not able to be sold to Home fans Not maximising capacity isn't necessarily lost ticket revenue to the club's as they may have the revenue already from Season Tickets or people not showing up for personal reasons with a ticket they bought. But things the club can do to maximise matchday revenues and minimise these gaps. Price games effectively, a couple early cup games were priced badly Don't mark games as sold out when they are not Release Terrace View tickets sooner to general sale Improve reselling systems Maximise away allocation efficiency, either in number or location. To ensure maximum seats are available without "lost" seats to separate fans
  5. Our branding so convoluted that other clubs laying claim to our lion
  6. I'm blaming you when he scores a perfect hatrick on the weekend FYI
  7. I reckon Brighton get something at City too to give Arsenal some hope, putting it in their hands.... Going to be glorious watching them come so close but still throw it away
  8. I also really like that we bought a big stake in Real Union. There aren't many ways (or examples of) clubs and owners being able to show their support for their guy. Supporting his private venture that has huge sentimental links to Unai, really puts a stake in the ground that he's our man and hopefully ties him to us a little bit longer
  9. I wasn't particularly worried about losing him just yet, but nice to see it confirmed. Bayern, Liverpool and Man U all looking for new managers. Maybe Barca and Chelsea added to that, You never know, so good to see the fire put out before it had chance to smoke.
  10. Biggest game of their decade this weekend and the captain arrested (and charged) for drink driving.
  11. I wonder if we were ever interested in Hayden Hackney and we'll go back in for him to replace Denconcker and boost our Homegrown quota again? Or,whether (maybe giving them more credit than due) the journo's figured out we were interested in a Boro player, assumed Hackney and they ran with it but we were only ever interested in Rogers
  12. Would love Tosin, but I can't see us spending on a CB (I know he's free, but because of that & his homegrown status, Newcastle, Spurs & United at least are all in for him too, so wages & fees will be high). We'll have Konsa, Pau, Mings and Carlos next season. Unless somebody is sold, I doubt we'll sign one as we're already spending a lot on our CB wages. Konsa probably our best but probably cheapest weekly too. I think we'll buy a RB and see Konsa at CB again rather than replace Lenglet with a CB. Unless Carlos gets sold, or Mings is miles off it perhaps?
  13. I agree mostly...the problem is we bought two 30yo LBs, both of which were in great form not long ago. It looked like we needed a new RB, sure, but were set at LB for a couple years, with the competition from Moreno really pushing Digne to a new level.... 6 months on, neither LB is really at the level and we still need a RB. I also don't think Unai will want both Fullbacks scoring and assisting freely as we'll be open on the counter. Interesting to see how we react
  14. Ah it's the new-old-new new shit version of our newest badge, no-not-that-new-badge-the-new-new-badge-but-not-the-fake-new-new-new badge just the latest new-new badge
  15. Sidenote: I was surprised to remember Leicester were competitive up until just a couple seasons ago. They were 3rd at this point 3 seasons back (then only got 3 points from 4 games, finished 5th). 8th a season later, then relegated. Madness
  16. In the years since Leicester won the league, 66 points after 34 games would mainly put you 4th (x4). 3rd (x3) is possible, but not since the Covid season now. Full List 22/23: 4th (3rd 68pts) 21/22: 4th (3rd 69pts) 20/21: 3rd (Leicester on 63. Man U 2nd 67pts, Chelsea 4th on 61) 19/20: 3rd (Chelsea on 60. City 2nd 69. Leicester 4th on 59) 18/19: 4th/5th (3rd 70pts) 17/18: 5th (4th 70pts) 16/17: 4th (3rd 68pts) 15/16: 3rd (2nd 68pts)
  17. I'm surprised at the talk of just 4 more points. Personally was doing the guesstimate maths earlier and think we need 6 more
  18. Incredible work by Ollie. Shame that it needed the tap in (but it definitely did). Great work by the team.
  19. You just know the poor social media intern was trying to figure out how to calm whoever told them to post this
  20. Came to post this as well. Ain't no way the Social Media manager has typed that, someone in their Senior Management team have absolutely lost their heads at full time here
