Villatillidie95 Posted June 9, 2023 Share Posted June 9, 2023 Honestly think if Emery had this guy, he would shape him up quickly and get him to a level which resembles something like the player we saw a decade ago. Same for Deli Alli and other players who seem to have taken a downturn. not saying we should go in for him or anything, but Emery will have the ability, analytical skills and most importantly diplomacy/management skills to be able to do this. At one point when he was on loan with us he was doing very very well then took a sharp downturn. I think his game has been shattered by injuries. Kind of like Coutinho, his game revolved around that initial burst of pace to get by players and shoot from range. Even in his earlier Everton days, I remember some fans saying he lacked something that was allowing him to influence games as much as he should have been doing.
