Obviously working from home can get boring so I find myself looking out the window a lot. A woman 3 doors down from me goes to the shop everyday to buy a newspaper. 2 days ago she was in the garden of the family 2 doors down, helping them take something down. At the same time my direct neighbour was hanging over the fence talking to them. They were all within 2 ft of each other. Next day, my direct neighbour is out handing something to the bin men. Again breaking the distance between them. Yet last night they were all happy as Larry out banging and clapping in support of the NHS. That’s literally in the space of a small cul de sac of 11 houses. So imagine what else is going on in larger scale. I went to the supermarket Wednesday filling up my trolley. I live on a main road.The road has been busier today than it has been for the last 10 days. I had no problem telling people to back up and go the right way, and only one person called me a rocket polisher when I asked "What do you suppose all of these arrows might mean?"
