Plenty of reports of long queues at polling stations and a large youth voter turnout. I think they are the main hope that we may see the Tories fail to get a majority.

I hope the younger voters are the deciding factor in this election as it is their futures that will be most shaped by it.

Thats interesting - my son is at Uni - and reckons he is one of the few to bother to vote - and that was after a history lesson via text from myself.

Boris Johnson - not as clever as he thinks he is, but not as stupid as he looks.

I pay my cleaner £10 an hour.  Why shouldn't he?

If someone has set up a business that relies on a product or service being at a fixed price forever, it's a shit business model.

Why am I gonna vote for a party who supports shit businesspeople?

Do you pay her NI contributions, liability insurance etc on top of the tenner, or is that all included?

I agree partly with this in terms of best outcome being a hung parliament but I think it would only last a few months and would achieve at least one effective thing.

Corbyn is done tomorrow if the Tories get a majority. If it is a hung parliament he may get a few months to push through a referendum to be quickly followed by a general election where he won't be leader.

Failure to get a majority for Johnson would also likely see the end of him. There is even a chance he may not win his seat.

I think Johnson will get a majority tonight. However I don't think he has enhanced his reputation in this campaign.

I was greedy with my wish list to Santa. Hung parliament, IDS, Raab and Johnson losing their seats and my wife finally deciding after 21 years that even though we have two girls a scalextric would be an appropriate present for one of them.

I know I am living in la la land though and have already resigned myself to the fact he won't be bringing a scalextric down my chimney.

Either she hobbled home and changed one of her shoes, or you've fallen victim to more fake news.

the original pic came via Abbotts friend didn't it  ?  ( i believe it's now been taken offline so hard to verify , but does add weight to it being legit )

unless they are going to opt for the "I was hacked" line , it might suggest she did indeed get an aide to bring her the other shoe

It’s funny on the surface, but given the slow and obvious deterioration of her mental capacity in recent times (from a low base, granted), she may be in the early stages of a serious degenerative illness.

No-one who puts odd shoes on the wrong feet should be in a serious position of power, but she could be Home Secretary and overseeing MI5 by the weekend. Terrifying.

Staggering how it is even possible really. Fair enough if you have 2 pairs of shoes that look similar and you end up with one of each but how the hell do you put your right foot in a left foot shoe & not think, Hmm that feels a bit strange

Still some of the original photos left online, she is definitely wearing 2 different left shoes.

Why are Labour voters so abusive to Conservatives? It's despicable and uncalled for. I don't see any other party doing it and I don't see any Tory's being abusive back. Every single person is entitled to vote how they please and further to that, doesn't need to explain a **** thing to anybody why they are voting for that party.

Any examples?

On a different note, why are Tory voters such victims?

Your team has been in power for 9 years. It should be easy to be prepared to explain your vote, or be asked questions.

This election is too important.

it's a thread about the election. no one has to do anything. people will ask why people are voting certain ways, no one is obliged to respond, but when plenty people feel the consequences of voting one way will continue to be damaging to everyone else, to communities and the broader system, they're going to be more emotionally invested when people vote for a party that is likely to causing misery for people. Not that hard to understand. If you don't like people being critical of the conservative party policy then you don't need to read it? Expecting a neutral response to a party who favour the rich and have **** over public services for years is pretty naive
