Celtic signed Klimala from Polish league not saying I have seen him play but this is type of signing I was expecting us to make. Celtic have a good scouting system too so he might turn a profit for them in the future

When you say 'type of signing' what do you mean? It sounds like you have no idea if he's any good.....

a young player with potential in a mid-ranked European league. Teams like Celtic and Brentford pick up bargain transfers like this all the time and make a killing from them. This is what organised clubs do

22million is a bargain fee? 😮

Perhaps not bargain, but not that high relatively these days.

And had he not got injured and scored 12-15 goals this season it would have been pretty decent.

That's a fake photo. That entrance to the training ground is permanently closed now.

Well, that and the fact he has no lower body or legs

Which still makes him a better long term bet than Kodjia

Unless i'm mistaken, this is exactly the approach we've been taking?!

can't believe we are 15 days into the window,

knew we needed a striker and a winger to take the hapless wesley and trez out of the team, wesley gets injured anyway (blessing in disguise) and yet 15 days in we've not addressed these key areas.

Before the window even opened liverpool doing a medical for minamino pops up on my youtube feed. We should of been shaking hands with agents at the start of December.

Basicly we need to either go down the robbie keane veteran route with someone like defoe or sturridge or go down the darren bent avenue with a big money move to get piateck. Benteke would be the middle ground.

Anyway Heads should roll for this absoluite shambles.

Ah, Screwy old chap. Never change. You bring such amusement to these boards.

Apparently Milan are only asking £5.5m for Ricardo Rodriguez and PSV or Fenerbahce are the likeliest destinations.

For that money I'd absolutely take a punt on him. We need a new LB and IF he can reach anywhere close to half the form he had at Wolfsburg he'd be a great addition for us.

To be fair £22 million is the equivelant of about £5 million before Neymar and the new TV deals broke football.

Why do people keep saying this? And always in relation to our worst signings?

Prices at the top end have gone mad, and yes, they've gone up across the board. Still good players available for less than £22m.

22 million is a lot higher than the 3.5 million Celtic have paid. There are players out there, Sure not all of them will turn out to be superstars but sometimes worth a punt. Norwich paid less than 2 million for Buendia & got Pukki for free..

And Ings cost 18mil. What an absolute steal that was!

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but with his goal return at the moment if Southampton stay up because of them then yes, he was a steal at 18m

Just like Martin O'Neill. knew who he wanted and blew them out the water to get them in the shirt and on the pitch.

Indeed. He sure uncovered some true gems like Eirik Bakke, Eric Djemba-Djemba, Didier Agathe, Phil Bardsley, Shaun Maloney, Moustaoha Salifou, Zat Knight, Marlon Harewood, Nicky Shorey, Steve Sidwell, Habib Beye, Stephen Warnock, etc.
