useless Posted December 15, 2019 Share Posted December 15, 2019 (edited) I like Hepburn-Murphy but he's scored less goals for Trammere in league one than Wesley has scored for us in the Premier league, in point of fact just to emphasize the truth of that assertion, all three of his goals for Trammere came in one game when he scored a hatrick against MK Dons. I'd take him back as a squad option but not as a replacement for Wesley, for that we need to find some proven top quality from somewhere. He needs to come off the bench a few times and play in cup games to build confidence. Not thrown in the deep end against the whole top 7 in English football pretty much all in a row. We really should have signed another forward, particularly Maupay. Having the two of them compete for the shirt would have been ideal.
