string28
We knew it was coming but dean will always be one of us and did more then any of us thought he would do.

Djemba_Villan
Absolutely gutted. I haven’t wanted it to work out for a villa manager more than him. 12 months ago the idea of a villa manager leading a villa captain & star player under the owners/CEO we have was tantalising. hope he gets a good reception on his return. It’ll take me a good while to feel any excitement about a replacement personally. I

VillaAlex
Thanks for bringing some great memories DS. We will always be indebted for the work you did, now us sadly the right time to part ways and it's very sad, but I'm sure even Dean will understand the ambition of this club cannot accept the past 10-11 months and we can now hopefully get someone in who takes us to the next level. I hope Dean continues to show what a good manager he is elsewhere.

imavillan
It’s a shame it has ended this way but it had to happen. Thanks Deano and all the best for the future (Norwich?)
El-Reacho
Gutted for him. We’ll only know if this is the correct decision in the coming weeks. If it’s Gerrard/Lampard in the frame then we’ll be back here in a few month’s time.

Popular Post Stevo985 Posted November 7, 2021 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted November 7, 2021 Thank you Dean. Most likeable manager we've had in my lifetime. Classy guy, huge personality, and has done a lot for this club. Genuinely gutted for him. I hope he becomes one of the rare Villa managers that goes on to have a good career after leaving us. Probably the right decision, but feel really sad about this one.
AVFCforever1991
I didn't want it to end this way but it looked as though he's taken us as far as possible, we have brilliant memories of Dean's reign in charge from 15th in the championship to mid table and a league cup final, good luck Dean.
